As an Archivist at Goddard Space Flight Center, you will be responsible for maintaining the NASA Goddard Archives, the archival collection available to Goddard and NASA personnel, employees of other federal agencies, and space/science researchers. You will provide expert advice, guidance, and recommendations on matters relating to the appraisal, accessioning, processing, description, storage, and retrieval of NASA Goddard historical documents.

Basic Requirements:
A. You must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major in archival science; or a degree in a related field that includes 18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours in archival science, history and/or in political science or government, and 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours in one or any combination of the following: archival science, history, American civilization, economics, political science, public administration, or government.

B. Have a combination of education and experience - at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours that included courses as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
