*Area 1 - All On-Board T5 NG employees within the INNG (Any Tenure). *Area 2 - All T32 Excepted Technicians within the INNG (Any Tenure). *Area 3 - Current AGR, Army M-Day, and Air DSG within the INNG. *Area 4 - All current Federal Employees (from any agency). *Area 5 - All U.S. Citizens.
The education must be accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education(external link) at the time the degree was obtained. Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Degree: industrial hygiene; or a branch of engineering, physical science, or life science that included 12 semester hours in chemistry, including organic chemistry, and 18 additional semester hours of courses in any combination of chemistry, physics, engineering, health physics, environmental health, biostatistics, biology, physiology, toxicology, epidemiology, or industrial hygiene. Courses in the history or teaching of chemistry are not acceptable. See General Experience section above.
You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-11. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
