Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
As a Program Analyst, you will:
- Collect, analyze, and evaluate data related to BEP-internal processes for supporting BEMs and stakeholders for the purpose of improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of BEM support including: customer support of BEMs and tracking responsiveness; communication to support readiness upon issuance of new currency designs.
- Recommend information that can be gathered from BEM companies using methods that satisfy the standards in the Paperwork Reduction Act; works with Division Manager to implement approved recommendations.
- Serve as primary point of contact for companies seeking initial BEP-authorization; logs all requests per procedure, collects, analyzes, and evaluates data related to the BEP authorization/reinstatement process and BEP-authorized BEMs.
