This position is located within the Department of Program Services (DPS), Probation and Pretrial Services Office (PPSO), National Program Development Division. The PPSO is responsible for the management, oversight, and support of the judiciary's probation and pretrial services program.
This position will report to the Branch Chief in the Probation and Pretrial Services Office (PPSO), Program Development Branch. The PPSO is seeking a Probation Administrator to perform a variety of duties in support of PPSO's commitment to evidence-based practices and the overall mission of the probation and pretrial services system. The incumbent will be responsible for oversight of Evidence Based Initiatives within the branch. This includes but is not limited to, training support for Core Correctional Practices, a national implementation contract, risk assessment policy development, and support for other evidence-informed supervision practices for both pretrial and post-conviction supervision. The incumbent will also support other initiatives that may address other specialized groups and other specialized program services; and coordinate with staff in other divisions within PPSO to provide implementation technical knowledge and training to support various projects and initiatives.
