Lead and expand ODNI's DEIA efforts, working closely with the IC DEIA Office, ODNI's Executive Diversity Council, diversity program managers in ODNI's Directorates/Centers/Offices (DCOs), and the ODNI Employee Resource Groups to develop a culture that recognizes the mission impact of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Lead a team of professional staff and assess performance, collaborate, and oversee goal setting, and provide feedback on personal development.
Leverage data to develop and assess strategies and plans to increase under-represented communities' presence in the overall ODNI workforce. Propose standards and metrics to assess progress against these objectives.
For internal-to-ODNI DEIA matters, ensure that corporate policy, guidance, process improvements, standard operating procedures, and internal training align to DEIA principles; develop recommendations for improvement, assessing the impact of these proposals; and work with DCOs to support implementation. Maintain awareness of external trends, laws, policies, and/or other factors that ODNI should consider incorporating into its existing efforts.
Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with key ODNI stakeholders, including the IC DEIA Office, Human Resources Management, the Reasonable Accommodations Team, and other ODNI customers and leaders.
Co-chair monthly meetings of ODNI's Executive Diversity Council with the COO, partnering with ODNI Governance to develop a programming roadmap for each quarter and to ensure meetings are used not just to inform but to drive actionable progress on DEIA initiatives internal to ODNI.
Work across ODNI to provide timely, accurate, data-driven, and comprehensive responses to annual reporting requirements, data calls, and taskings. Coordinate across ODNI to provide consolidated responses on behalf of ODNI when IC DEIA is collecting information from across the community.
Identify opportunities to access and enhance accessibility, for ODNI employees, employees of other federal agencies, ODNI customers, and the general public to facilities, information and products generated by the agency.
Develop proposals and monitor implementation of approved training programs to generate an environment that yields measurable outcomes in workforce composition, decreases loss rates, and improves career opportunities for employee. Serve as ODNI's lead for internal DEIA learning, training, and education in meetings, working groups, and conferences.
Collaborate, plan, develop, and implement ODNI's DEIA Strategy and Implementation Plan, as appropriate, linking major goals, objectives, and measures to IC-level strategies.
Oversee and lead the planning, development, and presentation of written and oral briefings to ODNI senior-level customers on significant and complex DEIA issues; ensure alignment with customer needs, including ODNI senior leadership and the workforce.
Provide guidance and advice to members of the ODNI Employee Resource Groups and the workforce on DEIA issues.
