Workplace Flexibility at CMS: This position has a regular and recurring reporting requirement to the CMS office listed in this announcement; however, CMS offers flexible working arrangements and allows employees the opportunity to participate in telework combined with alternative work schedules at the manager's discretion. PROGRAM COMPLETION AND CONVERSION: Program participants MAY be converted, without a break in service, to a term, career or career conditional appointment upon completion of program requirements. The position to which converted MAY have a full-performance level up to a GS-12. To be eligible for conversion, Presidential Management Fellow must meet all of the following:
- Citizenship requirement
- Complete two continuous years of work experience acquired through a Presidential Management Fellows
(PMF) Program
- Meet qualification standards for the position to which the Presidential Management Fellow will be converted
- Any agency-specific requirements specified in the Participant's Agreement
- Demonstrate successful job performance that results in a rating of record of at least fully successful and a recommendation for conversion by the first level supervisor.
Additional selections may be made from this announcement for similar positions within CMS in the same geographical location. For Central Office vacancies, the "same geographical location" includes Baltimore, Maryland; Bethesda, Maryland; and Washington, D.C.
