WHO MAY APPLY: All qualified permanent and indefinite Title 32 National Guard employees who are currently employed at the Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) 3 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:Since the position is temporary in nature, the compatibility requirements will be waived for a period of time not to exceed one year. Selecting official must verify that selected individual is currently assigned to a military unit in the Missouri National Guard and that the selection does not create grade inversion.
Maximum Military Grade - CW4 (W-4)
Minimum Military Grade - 1SG (E-8)
Title 32 National Guard employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training which demonstrates your ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs; explain manuals and work procedures; and prepare production records, work records and reports.
WS-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 36 months of specialized experience that demonstrates your ability to plan and organize work assignments for a repair function; review work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines; provide a knowledge of the various lines of work performed by the repair function and associated support organizations; and dealt effectively with other people. Experience adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations. Experience supervising through subordinate supervisors, or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate. Experience applying human relations techniques using a knowledge of general supervisory concepts; and a knowledge of shop processes.
This job does not have a qualification requirement that allows substitution of education for specialized experience.
