Leads the National Institute of Justice's (NIJ's) CrimeSolutions programmatic and operational activities and responsibilities, including the activities of contractors and external researchers to identify and review program evaluation and meta-analysis studies to create online profiles of justice programs and practices.
Leads NIJ's responsibilities related to the Evidence Act, including contributions to the Department of Justice's learning agenda and annual evaluation plan.
Provides NIJ science staff guidance and assistance with social science and criminal justice research and program evaluation methodology, data collection, and data analysis issues.
Reviews social science and criminal justice research documents (reports, solicitations, manuscripts, etc.) for statistical, methodological, and data analytical content.
Collaborates across NIJ's science offices to conduct ad hoc assessments of social science, forensic science, and an array of criminal justice topics.

Qualifications

Basic Entry Requirements:
Degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
-OR-
Combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates the acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

Specialized Experience:
