About the Position:
This position is located at Fort Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. For Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year-round military training. Recreation activities are abundant in the immediate and surrounding areas for family and fun.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1. Advising senior level staff on Aviation training program management functions, resource management, and constraints. 2. Managing aviation training program and associated support contracts which directly impact the training mission. 3. Conducting or participating in studies to determine effectiveness of short and long-range planning strategies and impacts to Aviation budget, manpower, and training. AND 4. Execute personnel management work to include evaluating employees and effecting disciplinary measures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
