- GS-7/9: With assistance from Supervisor, or qualified team member, review and evaluate permit applications to the Regulatory Permit Program pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
- GS-7/9: With assistance, provide sound technical judgment based upon existing environmental/cultural resource/endangered species regulations in order to recommend to higher level, the issuance, denial or conditioning of Federal permits.
- GS-7/9 With assistance, use sound judgment when evaluating proposed activities to assess environmental effects, identify possible alternative solutions and formulate mitigation requirements.
- GS-7/9: With assistance, identify and document the limits of Waters of the United States based upon current regulations, policy and guidance.
- GS-7/9/11: Coordinate regulatory issues with the public, state and federal resource agencies, local government, higher headquarters and other Federal, state and private groups to ensure concerns are considered.
- GS-7/9/11: Develop and maintain effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders including representatives from Federal, State and local environmental and planning agencies.
- GS-7/9/11: Gather technical information from a wide variety of sources and integrate into the Regulatory decision-making process.
