Description:
The United States Space Force's (USSF) Chief Human Capital Office (CHCO) is looking to hire its next Director of Force Development. If you are a well-versed, experienced training and development leader that is excited about leading people, transformation, and change, then keep reading.The stand up of a military department offers a very challenging, yet rewarding, experience to apply your transformation and out-of-the-box thinking in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, forming and shaping each program. S1D is responsible for the programs and policies for development of officer, enlisted and civilian Guardians for USSF. The Director is responsible for the coordination, integration and implementation of all force development policies, directives and strategy for the service. The Director will leave a team passionate about taking care of our Guardians.

Technical:
- Expert in enterprise-level education, training, and career development policy creation and revision
- Expert in the Joint Planning and Decision-Making Processes
- Experience working at the Military Department Service Level, Title 10 HQ Staff
- Experience in enlisted and officer development programs policies
- Experience in civilian personnel development programs and policies
- Experience in project management and the ability to run effective operational planning teams and working groups
- Experience preparing and presenting material for General Officers and Senior Executives
- Familiarity with the DOTMLPF-P and Organize, Train, and Equip (OTE) processes
- Familiarity in correlating knowledge, skills, abilities and behaviors into corresponding competencies policy

- This is a senior position on the Space Force Headquarters staff that interacts and engages with all levels of leadership throughout the Space Force, Air Force and Department of Defense
