The candidate selected for this position will:
Provide investment management support and assistance to identify and resolve investment and asset management issues as they relate to the PBGC investment program.
Oversee securing administrative management services to promote and facilitate the efficiency of various operations processes within the Corporate Investment Department (CID).
Assist in conducting special projects and studies related to investment management and the application of various strategies, systems, products, and techniques to the PBGC investment portfolio.
Assist in performing project management tasks as they relate to investment and manager research, technical evaluation panels for solicitations (RFPs), commingling assets from terminated pension plans, and new operational initiatives.

The candidate selected for this position will:

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications and/or education for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.
GS-12:
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the private sector administering financial or investment analysis, investment management or investment operations functions.
Examples include: overseeing investment managers or investment accounts; reviewing investment performance reports; analyzing and reporting on investment securities or portfolios; or performing administrative, accounting, and recording activities in support of investment functions.
GS-13:
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the private sector serving as a lead or senior financial analyst (or in a similar role) in managing a corporation’s investment portfolios or operations functions.
Examples include: overseeing investment portfolios or accounts; reviewing or modifying investment performance reports; or recommending investment solutions to management in support of investment management functions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
