We are seeking current students to work full-time or part-time in various locations across the nation during the summer of 2024 NTE 9/30/2024. The summer intern positions are announced under the Pathways Student Internship Program. You will be vital in performing a range of administrative duties for our organization, including but not limited to:
GS-399-03 Duties:
Compiling data for reports, charts or records extracting data from documents and posting or tabulating data to work sheets or other office records.
Composing brief memoranda from draft documents or discussions provided by the supervisor or higher-level employee. Proofreading memoranda to ensure they include proper grammar and punctuation.
Reading material and files by content subject; assisting users in locating and retrieving all material required for reports or responses to external inquiries.
Reviewing forms submitted to the office for processing; ensuring completeness, verifying data entered and checking for all supporting documentation.
GS-0399-04 Duties:
Assisting with program duties, gaining knowledge of the organizational rules, procedures, operations, or business practices.
Ensuring that prompt, professional, and timely program service to agency customers and contacts is provided.
Compiling statistical data for reports, charts or records extracting data from documents and posting or tabulating data to work sheets or other office records. Verifying accuracy of computations or computing quantities such as totals subtotals, percentages, averages, and balances.
Composing correspondence of a routine and non-technical nature based upon oral instructions, brief notes, or information which is readily available in the files and records of the office.
Proofreading memoranda to ensure they include proper grammar and punctuation.
Performing assignments using various automated data systems. Collecting and consolidating program information and data. Assisting in the utilization and update of reports for tracking processes and capturing organizational information.
Reviewing forms submitted to the office; ensuring completeness, verifying data entered and checking for all supporting documentation.
