This position is assigned to the Community Recreation Division: Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The purpose of this position is to perform duties commonly found in a variety of work situations and incidental to many different occupations in MWR, such as grounds maintenance, warehouses, facilities, and rental operations. This involves heavy labor, the use of hand and power tools, operating motor vehicles, towed and large equipment.

This position loads and unloads materials from ground, pallets, skids, platforms, trucks, lifting devices and transport vehicles manually or with lift gate, wheelbarrow, pallet jack or dolly. Operates a variety of power equipment and hand tools as well and maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and ensures that they are in working order. May assist in issuing and receiving rental equipment from customers, assist customers in hooking up trailers, loading and unloading of equipment into personal vehicles. And observes required saftey, sanitation, environmental, hazardous waste disposal, and housekeeping rules and regulations.
