The primary duties of this position are:
Candidates may apply to be considered for detail or temporary promotion. This is a temporary assignment and cannot be made permanent without further competition. To be eligible for a temporary promotion, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications requirements outlined below, to include Time-In-Grade restrictions. Applicants that do not meet the requirements for a temporary promotion may be detailed into this position with no change in pay grade.
Time-In-Grade: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees who have a break in service of less than 1 year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of 1 year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b). There is no specialized experience or time-in-grade requirement for applicants interested in the detail opportunity.
Supervisory Endorsement: Current Bureau of Reclamation employees must supply proof of current supervisory endorsement to be considered for this opportunity.
This position does not allow for substituting education for experience.

Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisory approval.
