The incumbent will perform duties such as:
- Liaising with government officials, regulators, judges and other high-level diplomatic, community, and business leaders in foreign countries.
- Assisting attorneys with the design and implementation of technical assistance programs;
- Analyzing the impact of programs and writing reports to funding agencies identifying CLDP's activities and achievements;
- Identifying and securing the logistical support needed to execute technical assistance programs through multiple procurement mechanisms;
- Developing, planning and preparing overall program budgets based on CLDP interagency agreements including tracking budgets as expenditures occur, notifying funding agencies of spending rates, and sending regular bills for CLDP programs;
- Traveling overseas to prepare and implement trainings, workshops and consultations in various countries and regions to include areas in Europe and Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Monitoring federal regulations and departmental policies to ensure that all CLDP plans and expenditures comply with the relevant requirements.
