MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies and the specialized experience for the grade level to which you are applying:

Specialized Experience for GS-13: Must have at least one full-time year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing ALL of the following duties:
Developing or administering a database management system, such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Postgres, or MongoDB, to support the security, integrity, optimization, or availability of the database;
Implementing data management technologies to build a solution to support the data lifecycle, such as acquisition, security, integrity, storage, or retrieval of data; and
Performing data management processes, such as developing data models, integrating source data into data management systems, or conducting performance-tuning activities, to optimize data management.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work performed through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
