To qualify for positions starting at Grade 4:
Applicants must have one year of general experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to GS-03 in the Federal service. General experience is being progressively responsible in clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

To qualify for positions starting at Grade 5:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 level in Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes: (1) communicating with clients, respondents, customers, and/or coworkers in person and/or by telephone, (2) using a device such as a smart phone, tablet, or computer/laptop (3) completing work/personal tasks in a timely manner.

4 years of education above high school.
