This position is in the Technology Controls Program (TCP) within the Division of Examinations and will be located in one of the following locations: Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Ft. Worth, TX, Los Angeles, CA, Miami, FL, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Salt Lake City, UT, San Francisco, CA or Washington, DC.
If selected, you will join a well-respected team as an Attorney-Adviser responsible for conducting examinations entities focused on crypto asset securities.
Typical duties include:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: In addition to meeting the basic requirement, applicants must also meet the minimum qualification requirement.
SK-13: Applicant must have at least two years of post-J.D experience identifying legal issues, conducting legal research, providing legal analyses, providing legal solutions/recommendations, and preparing legal documents, such as contracts, dispositions, pleadings, and motions, which also includes at least one year of specialized experience:
SK-14: Applicant must have at least three years post-J.D experience identifying legal issues, providing legal analyses, providing legal solutions/recommendations, and preparing legal documents, such as contracts, dispositions, pleadings, and motions, which also includes at least two years of experience:
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
