This position is in the Senior Executive Service. The Principal Assistant Inspector General for Audit is the principal advisor to the Deputy Inspector General for Audit. As a key member of the DoD OIG and Audit senior leadership team, the PAIG participates in DoD OIG strategic planning efforts and provides oversight of the corporate support infrastructure of the Audit component.
