The IT Project manager is responsible for delivering Information Technology solutions and services supporting PBS’ diverse real estate operations.
Location of position: GSA IT- Office of IT Public Buildings Services- Building Technology Services Division. This position has job functions that must be executed near a Regional office building and duty location will be determined at the time of selection.

The Building Technology Services Division (IPC) provides IT Project Management support for building systems projects that depend on the GSA network or require remote connectivity. This includes new Capital Projects, system migrations, and system upgrade projects.
As the IT Project Manager, you will serve as a technical project expert/consultant and project manager responsible for providing expert advice to generate new programs and program components to explore state-of-the art in efficiency and effectiveness of GSA critical projects.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $116,393.00 per year.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service.

IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Specialized experience is experience in managing and leading information Technology (IT) applications for real estate organizations with a large building portfolio with monthly billing. Experience must include: evaluating, utilizing and analyzing applications, such as energy metering systems, building monitoring and controls (BMC) systems, physical access controls systems (PACS), Elevator system, Fire & Life Safety systems, etc.; providing security compliance support to determine types of services allowed; supporting various initiatives and disciplines by providing insight and guidance on technology and connectivity to the network; and analyzing new and emerging technologies for industrial control integrations.
