THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION
The primary purpose of the AERIAL DELIVERY SPECIALIST, WG-5210-10, is to perform a multi-faceted broad spectrum of aerial delivery functions, necessary for management of day-to-day aerial delivery operations. This includes, but is not limited to, airdrop and airdrop inspections of equipment and personnel, rigging responsibilities, unit deployment training, personnel and cargo manifesting, Joint Inspection, load planning, determining cargo/personnel eligibility, directly responsible for safe and efficient loading/offloading of DOD-owned and controlled aircraft. Support sometimes includes aerial delivery support of non-DoD agencies.
May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the California National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
