Serving as an Assistant General Counsel, the Attorney-Adviser is responsible for supporting the Indo-Pacific regional program activities and USTDA's implementation of its statutory mandate to promote U.S. private sector participation in economic development projects. As such, the incumbent provides advice on the legal aspects of the agency's program and administration in the Indo-Pacific region. Among other duties, the incumbent may perform the following:

Telework Suitability:
The duties of this position are suitable for occasional telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval and if they meet the eligibility criterion in the 2010 Telework Act.
Stipulations of Employment:
Selection may require completion of a 1-2 year trial period.
