Serving as an Assistant General Counsel, the Attorney-Adviser is responsible for supporting the Power Africa initiative and USTDA's implementation of its statutory mandate to promote U.S. private sector participation in economic development projects. As such, the incumbent provides advice on the legal aspects of the agency's program and administration in the sub-Saharan African region relating to power and other related energy projects. Among other duties, the incumbent may perform the following:
