The Pacific West Region is recruiting for full-time permanent and career seasonal Park Guide positions with the National Park Service. These positions are intended to support permanent staff in the Division of Interpretation and Education.

The duty stations would be one of the following locations: John Muir NHS (JOMU), Martinez, California, Eugene O'Neill NHS (EUON) Danville, California, or Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front NHP (RORI) Richmond, California.
Full-time Career-Seasonal Park Guide positions with the National Park Service are located in:
Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park, Washington (KLSE): non-pay time is approximately: November - December or January - February
Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument, Idaho (HAFO): non-pay time is approximately October - February
Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, Washington (LARO): non-pay time is approximately mid-November to mid-January.
Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis, and are subject to release/recall procedures for non-pay status. You will work no less than 6 months per year. Each duty location has identified their anticipated non-pay status above.

A relocation incentive is not the same as a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move and, as such, may be granted in conjunction with one another.
