The GS-09 salary range starts at $57,118 per year. Locality will be determined based on duty location.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates knowledge of information technology (IT) application software development principles including common programming languages (e.g. Google Apps Script, JavaScript, Python, C#, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), PowerShell), version control software (e.g. Git, Github, Artifactory, Mercurial, Azure DevOps Server) or code repositories (e.g. Github, Bitbucket), and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in order to assist in successfully completing the development of process automation solutions. OR
Education: Possess Master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such degree or a LLB or J.D. related to the position being filled. OR
Combination of Education and Experience: Possess a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.

For education completed outside the United States, also submit a valid foreign credential evaluation that substantiates possession of the required education.
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Therefore, provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
