The Director for the NAPMP is responsible for providing executive leadership and oversight of the programmatic and functional areas within the CHIPS R&D Office supporting the NAPMP. The incumbent supports the CHIPS R&D Director and the CHIPS R&D Deputy Director for Programs, and represents NIST with senior Administration officials, Congress, other federal agencies, industry leaders, and national and international organizations. Specific responsibilities include:
The incumbent must possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor's or other Advanced Degree in a scientific, engineering, or recognized or traditional professional field, or significant experience in a scientific, engineering, or recognized or traditional professional field.
