As a Student Trainee (Visual Communication Specialist), you will:
Produce internal/external multimedia productions that address our core mission to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. These products may include printed material for presentation slides, manuals, newsletters, pamphlets, handbooks, filming /editing video, and adding graphic elements to videos or reports.
Work on a variety of multimedia projects, including video productions, animations, branding strategies, publications, graphics, logos, and presentation support.
Work closely with experienced Visual Communication Specialists on a variety of projects.
Assist with tasks related to production and post-production processes and gain enhanced knowledge, hands-on experience, and insight into the role of communications in keeping the traveling public safe.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of and experience in creating information graphics
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud graphic design software.
• Effectively script, plan and organize video shoots.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere video editing software.
NATURE OF THE APPOINTMENT: This is a student internship opportunity under the DOT Pathways Program. After successful completion of the program requirements, the individual may be converted to a permanent or TERM appointment. Extensions to this appointment may occur.
