As a Review Appraiser, you will:

Key Requirements:You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Appraising Single Family residential properties; AND
- Performing trend analysis, reporting findings and writing recommendations to management; AND
- Completing desk and field reviews of Single Family property appraisals
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must have a State Certified Residential Appraiser License OR a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License. (You must submit a copy of your current state license and certification to be considered. Failure to submit this required documentation will result in loss of consideration for this position.)

The duty station for this position will be a home-based worksite or other non-HUD owned space anywhere within HUD's Santa Ana HOC Region, which encompasses the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Guam, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Pay will be determined based on the duty location of the position. Employees will receive the locality rate associated with the location of their home worksite. Salary may be adjusted upon final duty location determination.
This is a 100% telework position, in which you may reside and work at a location within the Region of Santa Ana HOC jurisdiction. If selected for the position, you must sign an employment agreement prior to onboarding that details the working conditions/expectations.
