As a Supervisory General Attorney, GS-0905-14, you will be responsible for:
• Directing staff in the planning and conduct of complaint investigations, compliance reviews, proactive enforcement activities, and the provision of technical assistance.
• Ensuring that the team's complaint investigations, compliance reviews, and proactive enforcement activities are factually accurate and legally sound. Advises the team on the interpretation of the statutes and regulations enforced by OCR as well as OCR’s case-processing procedures.
• Supervising and participating in the activities of the case resolution team, coordinates with other OCR teams, plans and assigns work, assures that quality and quantity requirements are met, evaluates performance, deals with officials of their units in the organization, advises management officials at higher levels, effects disciplinary actions, recommends personnel actions, and promotes team building.
• Providing professional leadership and guidance to team members in conducting, and improving civil rights complaint investigation, compliance review, proactive enforcement, and technical assistance activities.
• Providing legal guidance to the team on the analysis of evidence, investigative reports, resolution letters, and negotiated settlements. Conducts legal research on statutes and regulations.

Conditions of Employment
1. You must be a graduate from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.
2. Proof of admission to the Bar of the highest court of a state, territory, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; and current membership in such Bar as would permit the practice of law. You must be a member in good standing of a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico bar.

Has fours years professional legal experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to that of an attorney at the grade immediately below the one being filled.

One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-13 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:
