Recent Graduate applicants must apply within two years of degree or certificate completion. Except for veterans precluded from doing so due to their military service obligation; these individuals have a two-year period of eligibility upon their release or discharge from active duty. The incumbent will work in one of the Resources Management Offices (RMO), which together with the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB), Budget Review Division, help carry out OMB's central activity of assisting the President in overseeing the preparation of the Federal Budget and related policy work. The RMO consists of the following programs: Natural Resources, Energy & Science Programs; Education, Income Maintenance Labor Programs; Health Programs; General Government Programs; and National Security Programs.
