The Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs provides American leadership, diplomacy, and scientific cooperation to conserve and protect the global environment, ocean, health, and space for the prosperity, peace, and security of this and future generations.
The mission of the Bureau of International Organization Affairs is to develop and implement U.S. policy in the United Nations, its specialized and voluntary agencies, and other international organizations and advance U.S. foreign policy strategic goals and U.S. interests through multilateral diplomacy.
Bureau Chief Data Officers will work closely with the State Department's Chief Data Officer and Managing Director of the Center for Analytics in the Office of Management Strategy and Solutions to help the Department realize its vision of data-informed diplomacy.
