Assists with the coordination of all aspects of FAA participation in/support of major national events, agenda, speakers, attendees, travel, location, meals, presentations, audio-visual requirements. Also, further assists with implementing outreach/engagement activities and provides administrative support to programs and internal team to include scheduling events, planning logistics, note-taking, content management to organize and schedule appointments, meetings, edit communications documents (e.g., website content, presentations, newsletters), maintain contact lists, drafting/preparing written correspondence; including agendas, reports and minutes ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness with limited supervision and direction. Coordinates with a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional to plan time and use assigned resources to accomplish tasks.
Applies basic knowledge of administrative programs and procedures and limited experience to provide administrative and operational support for the assigned organization, including: supporting managers and staff by maintaining, creating, organizing, updating, and generating reports from multiple systems; assisting in the timely completion or revision of actions related to staff management, status/report submissions, etc.; supporting staff with administrative tasks related to compliance, generating program documents, and monitoring progress status; composing, preparing, transcribing, proofreading, and editing a wide variety of paperwork of complex and technical nature; supporting the collection and compilation of statistical data required to prepare reports; assisting in maintaining and archiving program and administrative files and procuring supplies and equipment; coordinating small and large meetings, including handling logistical arrangements, making hotel and travel arrangements, and providing on-site support; and processing travel vouchers; preparing departmental spreadsheets; developing and maintaining databases; and assisting with the day-to-day organizational coordination of user support and communications.
Contacts are primarily internal to the organizational unit with a manager and other employees to share information, provide data and written analyses, and discuss the status of assignments. May have contact with customers and other external parties on routine matters such as gathering information, explaining regulations, and discussing the customer's situation.
Established policies/procedures provide detailed guidance for almost all assignments, with little or no room for discretion. Regularly refers problems and work issues to a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional for guidance.
Work is reviewed regularly during assignments and at completion to ensure timeliness and all aspects of quality.

To qualify for this position at the FV-F level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least three years of progressively responsible general experience that demonstrates the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and recognize solutions, plan and organize work and convey information, with at least one year equivalent to the FG/GS-4.
