CURRENT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES
The Executive Director leads the development of a revitalized NSTC and develops a strategic vision with action-oriented authorities for the NSTC and builds an effective leadership team for a refreshed organization. They will oversee the activities of the NSTC and collaborates with heads of agencies and the Executive Office of the President (EOP) on the creation of a mission, vision, goals, and strategies to reorient and make the NSTC and its sub-bodies more efficient and effective. The Executive Director directs or initiates cooperative efforts between NSTC and other sub-bodies of the EOP on specific, highly complex, and sensitive policy issues. They provide high-level expertise and assistance to the OSTP Director, and the NSTC membership in the critical and sensitive task of creating, advising, guiding, and coordinating major national and international policies. They will engage and manage relationships with non-federal entities on critical priorities of the EOP and opportunities to enhance NSTC.
