The position is located in the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), under the Office of the General Counsel and reports to the General Counsel. The Ethics Attorney will support our ethics program, providing guidance to senior leaders and staff regarding all aspects of ethics compliance, including identifying potential conflicts of interest, reviewing public and confidential financial disclosure reports, providing ethics briefings, and other ethics-related duties. The mission of OSTP is to maximize the benefits of science and technology to advance health, prosperity, security, environmental quality, and justice for all Americans. The Ethics Attorney will be a key member of the legal team and will work closely with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel to advance the efforts of OSTP leadership and the team. This position has a negotiable location.
