Requirements:
As required by Executive Order 14043, Federal employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. At that time, you may be eligible to request to continue to telework one or more days a pay period consistent with the Census Bureau's telework policy and approval from your supervisor.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: implementing administrative or statistical agency policies and precedents regarding the appropriate use, safeguarding, custodianship, and disposal of confidential microdata; overseeing the management of research proposal development and review; leading teams to negotiate effectively with management, technical experts, and external stakeholders; implementing a wide variety of administrative or agency policies regarding human capital management; managing staff human capital, including training, evaluation, and adjusting workloads in response to shifting priorities; and identifying and resolving the competing concerns of multiple stakeholders.
Education: Education cannot be substituted for the specialized experience at this grade level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
