These activities include the design and use of informatics solutions and technology to support all areas of healthcare, including, but not limited to, the direct provision of care, establishing effective administrative systems, managing, and delivering educational experiences, enhancing lifelong learning, and supporting research
The Cerner BCMA Coordinator integrates ergonomics and human-computer interaction (HCI) principles into informatics solution design, development, selection, implementation, and evaluation. He/she systematically determines the social, legal, regulatory, and ethical impact of an informatics solution on nursing and healthcare.
The Cerner BCMA Coordinator possesses an expert understanding of clinical treatment modalities, organization and administration of the VA healthcare delivery systems, educational principles, clinical information systems, accreditation and regulatory standards and program development.
