APPOINTMENT DURATION/EXPECTATION: Appointment is based on continued need/funds for the position and the student's continued compliance in the Pathways Internship Program. This is a developmental program while interns complete their education. After successful completion of the Program, interns may be non-competitively converted to a term (not-to-exceed for one to four years) or permanent appointment in the competitive service.
PROGRAM COMPLETION AND CONVERSION: The Pathways Interns may be non-competitively converted to a term, career-conditional, or career appointment after meeting all other qualification requirements in accordance with 5 CFR 362.204.
