This position requires that incumbent be certified as a radiographer.

This position requires Basic Life Support training certification from, or in accordance with, the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. Current Advanced Life Support or other advanced certification does not supersede BLS completion

Specialized Experience: which includes receiving, ordering, disassembling and inspecting dental supplies, instruments and equipment, utilizing both manual and mechanical sterilization cleaning methods, record keeping and troubleshooting equipment, operating and maintaining water purification/filtration system and the ability to assist dentist providing treatment to patients.
OR Education: Successfully completed a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major study or at least 24 semester hours in subjects directly related to the position, such as, Dental Equipment, Dental Instruments, Dental Materials, Disease Transmission (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR Combination of Education and Experience: Specialized experience as described, but less than one year; and I have some education leading to a bachelor's degree but less than required in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.).
