Duties
- As a Training Instructor (Social Media), you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
- Serves as a specialized advisor/consultant to the College in social media practices and the requirements for leaders to succeed in an information advantage environment.
- Provides instruction on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Flickr, Instagram, YouTube, and others as appropriate).
- Studies and keeps abreast of emerging technologies in the social media arena.
- Researches and produces course and/or course module materials, to include lesson plans, lecture documents, student handouts, computer generated learning programs, instructor/student books, practical exercises, case studies, and course surveys.
- Performs course/curriculum development functions designing, developing, revising, and delivering courses for the full range of offerings in the progressive and sequential Civilian Education System (CES).
- Performs needs assessments and evaluates student learning in terms of adequacy of coverage and accomplishment of approved course and/or course module learning outcomes and learning objectives.
- Prepares, publishes, and presents technical papers in government and professional forums.
- Prepares and delivers oral briefings to General Officers and members of the Senior Executive Service, to explain technical and operational issues.
