The position will provide a variety administrative functions at Scotts Bluff National Monument including fiscal management and personnel management for the park. This position will prepare human resources actions, complete time and attendance, maintain park files, and provide general staff support.
The position is in involved in procurement and property management both formal and informal. Position may hold a government purchase card and will assist with contracting actions (FBMS requisitioner and receiving officer).
Must be able to work in a collaborative, engaging, and fun work environment. Communication and teamwork are absolutely essential. Must be able to effectively use a variety of computer programs and platforms to provide support to park staff and collaborate with various central offices and organizations.
Scotts Bluff National Monument includes a visitor center, park headquarters, maintenance and quarters area. The park encompasses approximately 3,000 acres, maintains a staff of 15 FTE and works with a variety of fund sources totaling more than 1.2 million annually.
This position may be offered additional flexibilities with teleworking and alternate work schedules.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the grade level(s) of this announcement.

Working Conditions: The work is generally performed in an office setting.
