As an Accountant in the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), you will:

-- Enter and process data into various accounts and the general ledger; examine accounting documents for proper accounting classification and authorization; develop automated accounting instructions and procedures for routine transactions; analyze financial and statistical data
-- Prepare monthly trial balances and financial reports that contain timely, accurate, and essential financial management information
-- Adjust differences between the general ledger and subsidiary accounts; close entries
