You will serve as the Press Freedom Editor for the United States Agency for Global Media with responsibility for driving daily and long-term coverage of press freedom and censorship, editing stories and other content for digital and broadcast, conducting interviews for all platforms and leading projects in collaboration with journalists across VOA language services.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Manages the press freedom webpage and collaborate with journalists to improve Freedom coverage and enterprise.
2. Serves as the subject matter expert covering press freedom content and other newsworthy stories for global audiences.
3. Conducts extensive research and analysis, and conducts interviews for newsworthy sources.
4. Conceives, develops, and presents story ideas and daily events about press freedom.
5. Directs daily editorial decisions in collaboration with VOA editorial team for press freedom content.
6. Coordinates with social media and production teams to disseminate VOA content on all social media platforms.
7. Responsible for Press Freedom webpage to deliver press freedom content to a global audience.
