The incumbent of this position serves as Chief Economist and Vice President of the Country Risk and Economic Analysis Division and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of the Office of Risk Management at the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
The Chief Economist supervises a team of economists that evaluates country risk in emerging markets. The incumbent oversees the work of the Division, to identify new areas of research on topics affecting the operations of the Bank, and to serve as a spokesperson on economic issues for internal and external constituencies.
At the full performance level, duties include, but are not limited to:
