This position is located at the Memorial Products Service Office in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of this position is to process the Presidential Memorial Certificate applications from the next of kin and other loved ones of discharged or separated deceased veterans and to assist where needed or assigned in the daily operational needs of the Program Unit.

The incumbent is responsible for processing requests for Presidential Memorial Certificates (PMC) as they are received. This includes but is not limited to all verbal and written requests for PMC's requested from NCA and Memorial Products Service staff, other government offices, veteran's service offices and organizations, and the general public. Direct requests are often mailed or printed the day the request is received and sometimes have to be hand delivered to NCA or other government offices as required.
Work schedule: Required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. May include occasional weekends.
Compressed/Flexible Schedule: May be available.
Telework: May be available after a minimum 6 month training period.
