VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) is recruiting a full-time Chief of Occupational Health Services. The Chief of Occupational Health Services (Employee Health Clinic) is responsible to the Office of the Director/Chief of Staff and the Chief of Medicine for all operations of the Occupational Health Services. The Employee Health Clinic provides services to more than 3,000 employees of the Medical Center and five (5) Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The Chief of Occupational Health Service is responsible for coordination of educational and research activities with other Departments, including with the Department of Medicine, Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) Program at University of California Irvine (UCI) which has a well-established occupational medicine residency program, which is part of the Southern California Education and Research Center supported by a NIOSH training grant.
