Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Positioning, turning, holding, ambulating and transferring patients into and out of beds, into and out of wheelchairs, on and off gurneys, on and off bed scales and into and out of vehicles as assigned.
* Recording and reporting to the supervisor deviations in vital signs.
* Collecting specimens.
* Assisting the physician in a variety of diagnostic examinations such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow examinations.
* Performs a variety of personal nursing care which includes feeding, bathing, lifting, turning, oral care, nail care, hair care, and related personal hygiene duties.
* Applies and removes simple non-sterile dressings and bandages, slings, ace bandages and elastic stockings.
* Performs oral and nasopharyngeal suctioning.
* Assists the Registered Nurse in monitoring intravenous therapy.
Work Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week, shift work, weekends, days, evenings, nights and holidays.
