This position is located in the Office of the Assistant Director, Directorate for Social, Behavior and Economic Sciences (SBE), National Science Foundation (NSF). The purpose of this position is to independently manage the directorate's computer and information technology environment including oversight of IT equipment and software planning, implementation, and maintenance. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining Directorate-level SharePoint sites. Specifically:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent.
You must meet eligibility and qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date.
