About the Position:
Fort Drum, the home of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), is located in Northern New York's picturesque North Country, one of the most historically unique and geographically beautiful areas of the United States, offering bountiful outdoor recreational opportunities from hunting and fishing to winter sports of all types. Fort Drum is approximately 30 miles from Canada, with the Great Lakes to the west, the Adirondack Mountains to the east, and the St. Lawrence River and Thousand Islands in between.

Duties
As a Transportation Assistant GS-2102-06 with the Transportation Division, Logistics Readiness Center, you will:
- Forward completed reconciliation packet to servicing Defense Finance and Accounting Service within required timeframe.
- Ensure invoices are reconciled and/or certified properly to ensure compliance and prompt payment of provided travel services.
- Arrange group travel by bus and/or plane as appropriate to meet mission and follow applicable travel regulation/guidance.
- Reconcile centrally billed accounts for transportation section.
- Manage centrally billed transportation accounts used by travelers of supported activities.
