This is a full-time position with the Office of Information Technology at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C.
Current technologies deployed at the Court include: various servers and desktop PCs, Switched, Routed Ethernet Network, and various operating systems. Routers, Firewalls, and VPN technology are used for external connectivity. Multiple security and monitoring products are deployed.

Under the guidance of senior staff, the candidate will perform the full range of tasks and activities involved in developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining standards and procedures to protect the security and integrity of information systems and data. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
The candidate will make recommendations to senior management on results of analysis and work closely with other Information Technology groups to refine and enhance security controls. He or she will assist with problem solving, process improvement, project management, information security policies, and participate in on-call support. The candidate will possess strong communication skills allowing him or her to comfortably dive into technical discussions as well as debate contentious topics with senior staff across the Agency.
